This is an English Armoire made in Satinwood circa 1870. It is very unusual to find a piece of furniture of this type that is in Satinwood. It is absolutely beautiful with fantastic graining and movement throughout the wood. There is an arched top mirrored door on the right and left that opens to reveal hanging space. To the middle there is a pair of arched top paneled doors that open to reveal a shelf for storage. Below the pair of doors are 3 drawers. The piece retains it's beautiful and fine quality original Brass hardware. It rests on a plinth base and has a wonderful crown molding to the top. There are 2 hand carved corbels on the right and left upper of each mirrored door. There is a nicely molded edge around each drawer. This is a very pretty Antique Armoire. It measures 72 in. wide x 19 in. deep x 75 1/2 in. tall.
