An English Halltree made of Walnut circa 1880. It is very beautiful and very unusual. It has wonderful turnings to the legs and columns supporting the front and back. There is one drawer with it's original hardware. The Hooks are brass and completely original to the halltree. There are wonderful open pierced carvings throughout. The tiles in the back and on the bottom are extremely nice and extremely cool. It maintains the original drip pans for the umbrellas. The finish is clean and original. The halltree is in a good physical condition and is very nice in overall quality.
This is an English Canterbury made of Walnut and Burl Walnut circa 1870. The piece sits on a set of Bun Feet. There is a drawer to the base with 3 sections having turned supports to the interior. The legs are wonderful Bobbin Turnings. The 2 ends are very nicely shaped and fabulously hand carved. The back is completely finished to allow for the Canterbury to be viewed from both the front and the back. The piece is in good, clean, and sound condition both physically and in finish. This is a wonderful Canterbury and a difficult piece of furniture to find. It represents great value for your money. It measures 26 in. wide x 15 3/4 in. deep x 32 in. tall
This is a wonderful hand carved Mule Chest made in England circa 1800. The chest rests on a nice original bracket foot. There are two drawers to the base that have beautifully carved arched fronts. The left side of the front panel is well carved with two large Keys crossed. The middle panel is carved with Foliate Designs. The right side panel is carved with two mideval Battle Axes crossed. The top has three panels. Both the right and left sides have a beautiful Carved Arched panel to the base with a Lozenge Carved above. The original iron hardware is on both the drawers. The hinges to the lid are hand wrought Rat Tail Hinges. The finish and the physical condition are original and excellent. This is a very unusually carved, wonderful example of a great mule Chest ( a blanket chest with drawers ). It measures 48 in. wide x 22 in. deep x 29 1/2 in. tall.
This is an English, Solid Oak, Hand Carved Corner Cabinet made circa 1880. There are two drawers to the middle that sit over a pair of doors to the base. There are two beautifully turned and carved supports to hold up the upper cabinet. The back of the middle is beautifully carved with Arcaded Decoration. the upper has a cabinet door with a secret Molded Drawer above. There is a lovely carved molding to the top. This cabinet exhibits some of the finest carving to be had on a piece of this type. It has it's original finish and is in a wonderful physical condition. This corner cabinet is very beautiful and very impressive. It measures 54 in across the front and is 38 in. on each wall. It stands 81 in. tall.
